Andy is our Chartered Financial Planner and will help you understand how your assets can enable you to achieve your financial and lifestyle goals.
Whether you need help with reducing tax, planning for your retirement, building up your capital for estate planning or any other financial issue, Andy can help.
Whilst Andy can provide financial advice and support for a wide range of people, he traditionally works with three core groups of people: Business owners, Senior Executives and those who are five to 10 years from retirement.
Andy has always been a sports fan and continues to play the odd game of football, as well as a few rounds of golf.
Recently he has started to cycle with ArkRiders, who ride to raise money for the Ark Cancer Centre Charity. Visiting Land’s End, Paris and Cologne through his riding.
Watching my son play football followed by an afternoon out in the fresh air with my wife and son and then a meal and drinks as the sun goes down. Sunday a lazy morning followed by a round of golf.
My favourite holiday destination is:
The islands of Croatia
My favourite song to play in the car is:
Need never get old, by Nathaniel Rateliff and the night sweats
The first album I bought was:
I will say, Word Gets Around by the Stereophonics because the real answer is just too embarrassing
If I could be any fictional character, I would be:
Bertie Worcester, the ability to live a completely hedonistic life, with someone by my side clearing up all the trouble I get into.
If I could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, I would win a medal in:
Putting off and delaying DIY projects
When the dessert menu arrives, I’m looking for:
Sticky toffee pudding or tiramisu
The three qualities that draw me to new people are:
A willingness to laugh at themselves, Openness, Kindness
My pet peeve is:
The misuse of statistics, i.e. one in 10 people believe it is wrong to XXX… so what you are really saying is 90% of people believe it is right!
The best gift I’ve ever received is:
A ticket to England vs Germany at Wembley for Euro 96
The three people at my dream dinner party would be:
The Obamas , “The Boss” Bruce Springsteen, Stephen Fry
The three small things that make my day better are:
Drinking a coffee with no interruptions in the morning, seeing small random acts of kindness, a beer with good company at the end of the day
My proudest moment as a Financial Planner was:
When a client emailed me saying, you have been nagging us for years to spend more money and enjoy our retirement, so we are taking your advice, please can we have £15,000 from our investments as we are planning our dream road trip around the USA.
The three things I love most about my job are:
Listening to people’s life stories, enabling or at least helping clients achieve financial freedom to enjoy retirement.
Working as part of a team
The types of people I most enjoy working with are:
Clients who are time poor due to their careers and are keen to improve their work-life balance. Clients planning big changes in their lives. Clients keen to explore philanthropic opportunities.
We work with some fantastic clients, who are delighted to share their stories with you.
